Terms And Conditions Of Bengal Tour Plans For Tourist And Package Tours

TERMS AND CONDITIONS POLICY FOR PACKAGE TOURS

ALL TOUR PACKAGE PRICE INCLUDES

  1. Sleeper class train fare (up and down)

  • Except for North Bengal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, and Free Individual Tour.

  1. Bus fare / car / cab / boat.

  1. Accommodation in the hotel.

  1. All food (morning tea, breakfast, lunch, snacks, tea, dinner).

  1. Sight-seeing, as mentioned in the itinerary.

  1. Porter charge: For group booking, except Free Individual Tour, North Bengal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, and all India Free Individual Tour.

  1. The Tour Authority will not carry the luggage in the entire tour program.

  1. Each passenger is allowed to carry a maximum of 7 kg of luggage during the journey. Carrying the cost of extra baggage above 7 kg will be borne by the tourist

Tour authority will provide an accidental Insurance Policy of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) per head for group booking upon request in writing and payment of the extra amount as a premium of insurance tourist/passenger at the time of booking.

Tour Price Excludes The Following Details

  • Packaged Drinking water: During the entire tour program, no packaged drinking water will be provided. Passengers may consume the drinking water supplied by the hotel authority.
  • Amusement rides or riding charges.
  • Entry fees (all sight-seeing spot)
  • Guide charges (expect Sundarban Tour).
  • Immigration / Inner line charges.
  • Porter charges.
  • Parking charges.
  • Charges for camera, video camera, DSLR, mobile phone, etc. or kind of donation or puja.
  • Dandi / kandi / ropeway / boat charges / Shikara house riding.
  • No food will be served in the room.
  • No food or drinking water will be served during the train journey.

ACCOMMODATION TYPE POLICY

  • Rooms will be provided family wise as selected by the Representative/Manager of the tour authority. No request for rooms with outstanding facilities will be entertained except Kedar, Badri, Gangotri, and Yamunotri.
  • AC Rooms and Room Heaters will be provided as per the hotel’s availability upon payment of extra charges.
  • Single individual tourists have to share rooms at hotels with other tourists in the tour program.
  • In case of any confusion regarding children 5 years and below, the guardian/parents will be solely responsible for proving the same during the entire tour program. In case of non-disclosure or any confusion of the child’s age at the time of booking/ during the tour program, the tourist has to pay an adult individual for the child.

RAILWAY TICKET AND SEAT BOOKING POLICY

  • For train journey tour authority is entirely dependent on railway authority, it is impossible to alter any particular seat, i.e., L/M/U or coach.
  • For confirmed tickets, please book a ticket at least 125 days before the journey.
  • The tour authority will not be held liable for the non-confirmation of Railway tickets.
  • In the event of an increase in Railway Fare between booking and completion of the tour program, the tourist/passenger will bore the additional fare.

BOOKING RULES OF BENGAL TOUR PLANS KOLKATA

    • Booking for the tour program will be done upon payment of 30% of the total tour package charges in advance at the time of booking.
    • Full and final payment must be made at least 30 days before the journey date by mode of cash/cheque/demand draft; otherwise, the booking shall be canceled by the tour authority.
    • Payment will be deemed to be made upon the encashment of the cheque.
    • Booking means that the tourists have acknowledged and accepted all the terms and conditions of Bengal Tour Plans.

TAXES/ 5% GST RATE AS APPLICABLE ACCORDING TO GOVERNMENT OF INDIA

  • All taxes, including Service GST imposed by the Government, shall have to be borne by every Tourist/Passenger.
  • GST Bill will be provided along with the paid stamp 

LTC / LFC POLICY

 

  • The tour authority will assist in availing LTC / LFC facilities

CANCELLATION RULES OF BENGAL TOUR PLANS KOLKATA

  1. Cancellation should be made in writing and by deposition of the original ticket and/or original booking receipt at the Tour Authority’s office by the person along with identity proof in whose name the tour program was booked.
  2. Cancellation is to be made during office hours on working days against the original voucher.
  3. No cancellation will be accepted by the mode of electronic and postal media.
  4. In case of outstation resident tourist booking, original booking receipt and the actual application of cancellation by the person in whose name the tour program was booked shall be sent through postal medium to the Tour Authority’s office.
  5. Date of cancellation will mean that date on which the original ticket and/or original booking receipt is received at the office of the Tour Authority.

N.B: Within 24 hrs of booking, cancellation charges will be Rs.500/- (per head) + price of a train ticket (if the ticket is booked)

  1. 120 days to 30 days before the date of journey > @ 25% of package amount per head will be deducted.

  1. 30 days to 15 days before the date of journey > @ 50% of package amount per head will be deducted.

  1. 15 days to 7 days before the date of journey > @ 80% of package amount per head will be deducted.

  1. 07 days before the date of journey > no amount shall be refunded.

  2. In case of season time, no refund is allowed in cancellations made within 30 days.

MODIFICATION RULES OF YOUR TOUR DATES 

In case the journey date is modified, the tour comes under cancellation rules.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR TOURISTS WHO BOOKED VIA BENGAL TOUR PLANS

  • Departure and return days are included with the total number of days in a tour program.
  • Due to unavoidable circumstances, if the tour is canceled (By the Company only), the entire advance/deposited amount will be refunded without any interest or compensation.
  • In case the tour is extended for any unavoidable circumstances, the extra cost will have to be borne by the tourist.
  • Tour Authority will not undertake any liability / any loss (financial or physical) / accident/robbery/theft during the tour program.
  • If there is an increase in railway/bus fare/fuel charges – the extra fare will be borne by the tourist.

NOTE: Management reserves the right to change the itinerary according to circumstances.

Management will not be responsible if anyone misses the train due to being late. He can join the tour at any other point at his own cost.

Management will not be responsible if any one or more sightseeing points are missed due to train late, massive traffic roadblock, delay of other passengers, and break down of bus/car/cab, agitation. During the entire tour, our Manager’s decision is complete and final, and the tourists have to abide by it.

Tourists must attend and obey the guidance of the tour Manager during the tour program.

  • All tourists should keep their original identity and photocopy of voter / Aadhaar card / Mask / Sanitizer.
  • Tourists are fully responsible for keeping furniture/fittings of a room as it is in proper condition. In case of any damage specified on the wall, damage bed, pillow cover, ceramics, glass, etc. due to tourists’ acts. That tourist will bear compensation for damages due to a tourist’s action as per concerned hotel rules.
  • The hotel authority regulates room quality and service, and your authority shall not be responsible and/or liable for the same.
  • Electricity, water supply (hot and cold), generator, A.C. Service, lift service depends upon concerned hotel authority, and your authority shall not be responsible and/or liable for the same.
  • Tourists are advised not to carry any precious items while on tour.
  • Tourists must carry all their belongings, including luggage, while traveling at their own risk. Neither the tour authority nor their representative or staff accept any liability or responsibility for any kind of trouble, theft, delay, damage, loss, injury, accident, death, etc. during their tour; however, it might have been caused.
  • The hotels are subject to change without prior notice to the tourists.
  • During sightseeing, the tour authority will take a bus/car up to the point until the place is allowed, if any vehicle or other arrangements are to be made from that point, and then the expenses should be paid by the tourists only.
  • Timings mentioned in the itinerary for the bus/car tour are only estimated for the sake of knowledge. There are always chances of delay in arrival at the destination due to various reasons.

FOODS POLICY DURING PACKAGE TOUR

  1. Bed tea, biscuits.
  2. Breakfast – Bread, Jam, Sweets (if possible) Puri, Sabji.
  3. Lunch – Rice, Dal, Bhaja, 1 Veg Curry, 1 Non-Veg Curry.
  4. Snacks – Tea.
  5. Dinner – Roti / Rice, 1 Veg Curry, 1 Non-Veg Curry.
  6. Water – Available drinking water (aqua guard – if available) in the hotel.
  • In the silk route, the packaged egg is provided at lunch, and chicken will be provided at dinner time.
  • Apart from the food mentioned above items, if the tourists want to have anything extra, the tourists’ charges will have to be borne by them.
  • No food will be served in the room.
  • In case any tourists do not take the food provided by the tour authority, no claim for money will be entertained.

TOUR COST EXCLUDE FROM TOUR PACKAGE RATE 

  • Air Fare.
  • Personal Expenses such as Laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, porterage, etc.
  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Guide charges.

 

SPECIAL NOTE FOR TRAVELLER 

  • Room category in all packages is the base category room, category other than base shall be mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Tour Authority shall provide AC / Non AC Indica for 02–04 pax and AC / Non AC Sumo / Tavera for 05–09 pax in all packages, tourist coaches shall be used for a group of 17 & above tourists.
  • The rates are valid for Indian nationals only.

 

NOTE FOR THE TOURIST 

  1. Please Note That Hotels Are Not Blocked And Shall Only Be Confirmed On Receipt Of Advance And Room Availability Position At The Time Of Confirmation.

Change In Hotel In Case Of Unavailability Shall Be Made Only After Your Confirmation.

 IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR TOURIST 

  • Check-in 08:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 08:00 hrs. (Subject to Hotel timings). Guests are advised to confirm the same with the hotel while Check-In at Hotel. Please note that we can – not extend hotel timings and are at the discretion of the Hotel only).
  • On arrival of Tourists at (Port BlairAirport) Airport, the Executive of Tour Authority will be there with the PLA – CARD at Exit Gate on the Airport.
  • The tourism infrastructure in other islands is not very developed, and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of city & other developed destinations.
  • On arrival of tourists, we will provide them with local contact numbers of the Executive of Your Authority, who will arrange the entire tour program.
  • If guests want any changes in their sightseeing schedule, they should be informed of our executive previous day of the schedule program before 16:00 hrs; after that, no changes are allowed. If the guest reports after 16:00 hours, it will be considered a cancellation with no refund, or the guest will pay extra cost for the sightseeing reschedule.
  • Tourists maintain the sightseeing/transfer timing, which will be advisable by the tour executive/manager.
  • The Itinerary is subject to be changed due to weather conditions and other limitations; the tour authority shall cover all the points mentioned in the itinerary. However, no claim shall be entertained if any issues could not be covered due to lack of time/ force-majeure, government restrictions, abnormal weather conditions.
  • Vehicles are not at the disposal and shall be available as per tour Itinerary only.

 

OPTIONAL / EXCLUDED IN PACKAGE POLICY, BUT CAN BE AVAILED BY THE TOURIST UPON PAYMENT OF EXTRA CHARGES

  1. Scuba Diving at Port Blair / Havelock, including transfers & diving equipment – INR 4,000/-  per person.
  2. Sea walk at Northbay on additional payment of Rs.3500/- per person.
  3. Jet Ski/Banana Ride at a water sports complex on share boat (duration 10 minutes) – INR 400/ – per person.
  4. Water Scooter ride at the water sports complex with driver (duration 5 minutes)-INR 400/- per person.
  5. Water skiing at water sports complex (duration 15 minutes) – Rs.1000/- per person.
  6. Candle Light Dinner FOR COUPLE at Rs.4500/- extra.
  7. Flower Decoration PER COUPLE for 1 Night & Chocolate Cake for one Night at Rs.3500/- extra.
  8. Transfers to Havelock / Neil in Luxury cruise at additional Rs. 500/- per person per way.
  9. Dinner Cruise Floating Restaurant Afloat @ Rs.1000/- per adult & Rs.500/- per child. Additional charges for the Dinner Cruise shall be Rs.500/- for the Vehicle for pick up & drop.
  10. Diglipur / Maya Bandar / Rangat infrastructure is inferior.
  11. To visit Northern Andaman tourists should start at 3 a.m.
  12. Visit Jolly Box Island / Viper Island is excluded. It would depend on Government permits with their own cost of the tourists.
  13. In the case of Havelock, Elephant Beach is excluded, and tourists can visit those places at their own cost.
  14. Visit Little Andaman is excluded.

 

POLICY FOR CARRYING GOVERNMENT IDS SUCH AS VOTER CARD/ AADHAR CARDS DURING TOURS 

Please carry original id proof (identity card – Voter ID card/Passport/Driving License, etc.) for security purpose & hotel policy / Musk / Sanitizer.
